Azure Access + Sentry Interactive

Azure Access + Sentry Interactive

NFC mobile access for the post-quantum era.

Bring Sentry Interactive’s readerless credential technology to Azure Access CP series controllers. Enable mobile entry with a passive NFC tile at the door.

A different deployment approach

Make the phone the reader.

With Sentry’s software embedded on the controller, a user’s phone reads the passive NFC tile. The tile needs no electrical supply or reader cable.

Open architecture in action

Give your software more room to innovate.

Azure Access’s embedded Linux platform supports third-party applications directly on the controller. Cloud, server and on-board integration options give partners flexibility in how they build their solution.

The experience at the door

One phone. One tap.

A compatible smartphone interacts with the Sentry Smart Access Tile to start the unlock process. The passive tile can be attached at the entrance without adding a powered NFC reader.

The tile itself needs no batteries, electrical connection or reader cabling.

How the integration works

  1. Tap

Present your phone to the NFC tile.

  2. Request

The phone signs and sends an access request to the controller.

  3. Validate

Sentry’s on-board software validates the request; the controller makes the access decision.

  4. Unlock

If authorized, the controller releases the lock and logs the event.
